Nvidia announces $500 billion AI data-center investment program

Nvidia announced a $500 billion investment program that includes commitments from Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR to fund the construction of AI data centers. The company says it will use its own capital to guarantee that the cores used as collateral retain value, and it will cover up to 25 % of any shortfall should the value decline. Nvidia has already invested billions with customers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, CoreWeave, Nebius, Firmus and Lambda, and it is planning an additional $750 billion in round-deal financing during the summer.
