Meta's Muse climbs to second place in the App Store, but the numbers tell a different story

A quiet launch by Meta standards
Sensor Tower data shows Muse logged just over 83 thousand iOS downloads in the United States since its Tuesday debut. That was enough to push it to second place on the overall download chart, yet the pace is markedly slower than Meta's recent rollouts. Threads pulled 4.3 million downloads on day one. Even the standalone Meta AI app managed 108 thousand at launch. ChatGPT, for comparison, crossed half a million installs in under a week — averaging roughly 83 thousand a day, a figure Muse took twice as long to reach.
